10. Tesla Roadster and Model S: The Tesla Roadster is just a fantastic all electric car that's going far and fast! Not only it goes from 0-60 mph in 3.7 seconds it's also a very, very hot sports car. I really fell in love with it as soon as I saw a picture of it. And then I was able to test drive the Tesla Roadster which made me fall in love even more with the car. Here's our test drive and interview at their showroom in Menlo Park: www.ecobold.com/tesla-roadster-test-drive-2.They're also coming up with the four door Sedan, the Model S and it's extremely beautiful! A little history about Tesla, from their website:
Tesla Motors was founded in 2003 by a group of intrepid Silicon Valley engineers who set out to prove that electric vehicles could be awesome.
The Tesla Roadster hit the streets in early 2008 as a car with no equal. Two years later, over 1,000 Roadsters drive emissions-free in more than 25 countries.
Tesla's Battery Packs and Powertrains
will help lessen global dependence on petroleum-based transportation and drive down the cost of electric vehicles. By cooperating with other car manufacturers, we hope to put more electric cars on the road.
Every Tesla and EV using Tesla Technology is a step towards making increasingly affordable electric cars available to the consumer.
It's more than electric, it's Tesla. (gotta love their slogan!)

8. Recycled candy wrap purse and clutch by Eco Fashions: these recycled material purses are so cool and will definitely catch people's attention. They're exotic, different, and best of all, green!
More info about them, from their website:
Eco Fashions uses recycled candy wrappers, newspapers and magazines to make a collection of uniquely crafted accessories. Our handmade specialty line of Eco handbags are stylish, fun, durable and green.
We are involved in the design of our handbags and work with a rehabilitation center in Mexico City for young adults ages 18-28 similar to a juvenile hall. The young adults are given a choice to do rigorous work with very low pay or make these candy wrapper products and earn 5x more per week. When they get paid for their production they are able to pass this along to their families. As our business has grown it has given employment to others i.e. senior citizens, single mothers and the unemployed. It has been very rewarding to know others benefit in exposing this beautiful art that puts a smile in those who buy it and those who make it.
The stylish eco friendly handbags, with their striking colors, reflect the love of the hands that fold and weave each wrapper together to create their unique shapes and sizes. It takes one artisan a full day to make a small purse and up to five days to make a larger purse.
By making a purchase you help the environment, the lives of those who handcraft the accessories, the young adults at a local rehabilitation center and many others whose hands touch the candy wrappers. This is a fair trade business based in San Francisco, California. When you think Green think Eco Fashions.
7. Local wine: drinking local wine is green, and who would have thought about it? By drinking local wine you're not only helping our environment because your wine has traveled a few miles to get to you (rather than thousands) but you're also helping your local economy! What a great way to help two great causes at the same time. And if you can, drink local organic wine, which also is not only much healthier for you, it's also healthier for our planet and our soil. There are several organic wines popping up left and right and you shouldn't have a problem finding them. The other day I even went to an organic wine tasting in San Francisco! My favorite place to find wines is our from our loved Gary Vaynerchuk from Wine Library.

One of my favorites is the coconut curry flavor, it melted in my mouth and it was a great combination.

As of 2010 they say that they're the only organic, fair trade, beans-to-bar chocolate factory in the US.
