What is outrageous to me in the sunscreen scam, I mean world, is that a research done by the Environmental Working Group (EWG)* showed that nearly 600 out of 900 brand name sunscreens contained a chemical called oxybenzone, which is linked to hormone disruption, allergies and cell damage. Hello? Am I the only one here pulling my hair off? How can companies do this, I ask? Well the FDA ain't stopping them! These companies have large budgets so they put some really nice looking ads and colors in their packaging, fooling you. And I didn't tell you the best part, 84% of these sunscreens do not offer enough sun protection!

And always remember: a little bit of sun everyday is a great thing, sun helps your body produce vitamin D, this fantastic vitamin helps prevent 77 of all cancers in women (including brain tumors, breast cancer, brain cancer, lung cancer, colon cancer, cervical cancer, multiple myeloma, etc). Try to go under the sun before 10am and after 4pm, depending on the time of the year.
