The magic of the patented technology in the LightWedge Original Book Light for paperback books is in the tapered, “wedge” shape of the optical-grade, acrylic lens. Two energy efficient, bright LEDs housed in the handle project light through the lens, directing all of the light down onto the page without light escaping to disturb others around you. Requires 4 AAA batteries (not included), providing about 40 hours of light. The color of the trim is black. A soft protective case is included.
