I thought organic cotton was wonderful on it's own, until I felt this blend with Hemp and Silk! I want bedding out of this fabric!
Here it used in a luxurious Christmas stocking that is fully lined with undyed organic cotton fabric. Even the ribbon holder is organic:)
Hemp is a sustainable, and easily renewable resource, and a great use they have found for it is fabrics.
The stocking is a foot long from the top of the stocking to the heel, not including the toe area. It's a generous size to fill and 6 inches across.

Why Hemp Fabric?
Hemp fabric is strong, durable, mold resistant, and comfortable with good absorbency. Growing the hemp plant is Earth Friendly because is that it a drought resistant crop which requires little to no pesticides, replenishes soil with nutrients and nitrogen, controls erosion of the topsoil and produces a lot of oxygen. Industrial hemp contains less than 1% THC (sorry, no hippie high!). Proud American history: Presidents Washington and Jefferson both grew hemp, and American colonists used hemp fiber to make rope & clothing. During World War II Americans grew and made hemp into uniforms, canvas, and rope.
