  Shea butter is a base ingredient in all our soaps. Our raw, unrefined shea butter is pale yellow to golden yellow. The moisturizing and healing propertieis have only been recently discovered by western culture, however shea butter has long been a mainstay in African Pharmacology.
  
  Made from the Karite nut of the shea tree, shea butter is also popularly known as " Women's Gold" in Africa where it is primarily the women who gather and engage in the delicate process of making this wonderful product.
  
  Cosmetically, it is used for cellular renewal. It repairs the hydrolipidic layer of the skin thereby making it softer and smoother. Safe for children, it effective on preventing and ridding strech marks, scalp irritation and dryness, cracked heels, rough elbows and knees, eczema, psoriasis and wrinkles.
